Purpose

Conduct toxicological assessments to ensure the safety of dietary supplements and cosmetics as part of a 4-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct toxicological assessments of dietary supplements (50%)

  • Prepare toxicological profiles

  • Evaluate the safety of cosmetic formulations (50%)

  • Create and update toxicological databases

  • Analyze data and draw scientific conclusions

Education

  • Pharmacist degree or Master’s degree, 5 years of post-secondary education in toxicology.

Hard Skills

  • Toxicological Assessment and Risk Analysis

  • Literature Research and Analysis

  • Scientific Writing

  • Management of Toxicological Databases

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in safety assessment, ideally supplemented by experience in dietary supplements, the food industry, or the pharmaceutical industry.
